Go the triple diamonds.
It appears that a suprise present was in the works as an afterthought from the parents, and a Mitsubishi FTO is the order of the day! Im looking around now for good quality ones, most definately a GPX however, with Tiptronic. Unlike the other times Ive been looking at cars like Silvias, r33’s, etc, this time its actually serious, and from the looks of things you can find a completely unmodified excellent condition GPX FTO for around $13k, which is just on the exact area of pricing that I think we would go for / afford.
I don’t even know if I would be modifying the thing anyway, its got tiptronic, a sunroof, a 156kw V6 MIVEC engine, and a generally sporty as hell interior. Its only disadvantage (and when I say disadvantage, its not really) is that its a fwd instead of a rwd, but for someone like me who loves the corners and not straightline speed, its absolutely awesome. Ive read a few reviews, including one from Top Gear, and all of them have ended in nothing but praise. It was also Japans car of the year in 94 or 95, can’t remember exactly which year. Im absolutely psyched about this, as you can probably tell by my overly exuberant post.
In other news, Dreamhost has been fucking me about lately with a fair few timeouts and slowdowns, and all Ive gotten is the response that the Server that hosts the sites, its database server is getting hammered pretty heavily at times. Im not liking this much, it should be able to handle the load, not give timeouts. Its not just me on this account hosting sites, I host 5 other sites apart from my own here for other people, and having downtimes is unacceptable. I think more support emails are in order. I love Dreamhost, they’ve been really good to me until now (Free upgrade to 1tb of bandwidth a month anyone?) but this is really annoying me.
Been listening to a fair amount of Clawfinger who in my opinion are one of the best rock bands ever created because of their stance and thoughts on various issues of rascism, crime, etc. That and they’re one of the few bands Ive ever heard where their lyrics make sense. I usually hate bands simply because either their lyrics do not make sense and are written to fit the music, or the singer always spoils the instruments for me by moaning away about the aforementioned meaningless lyrics. Its another reason I listen to so much HardStyle. Which incidentally reminds me that Bassbyte.com is updated with more music, from nearly all the artists. Theres also new ones like Hellfire there. Enjoy.

When it rains it pours.
Im fine myself, my life is actually looking up, but for others around me, its gotten terrible over the last couple weeks. A mate of mine has huge problems atm which I can’t help with, and one of my family members recently had the worst weekend of their entire lives, which for them was a really, really bad weekend.
Apart from that, its life as usual, except I have a new softmodded xbox and xbmc, and Uni is still as terrible as it was last time I checked. I still haven’t payed the fools as I feel like Im paying some kind of left-wing greenpeace-esque party of heavy handed joiners.
Ive been thinking about changing my car for a while now, as its almost near its 3 year time ‘limit’. But, Im really suprised, I really really like it. Its been so good to me, and its so much fun to drive. It doesn’t have any faults apart from low power, which for its model you can’t really complain about. Hrmm. I don’t know what to do.
